First day at a strange place, the poor Zanpakuto spirit was confused since she wake up from her sleep and found herself in front of the building she was just part of.
Walking gracefully around Iwakiri Academy to be familiarize with the building and with the hope to find a familiar face, Sode no Shirayuki noticed the presence of someone right behind her.
“May I help you with something?” she asked with a soft voice before turning around to face the stranger.
Wandering about the corridor with his hand in his pocket and his nose in his ever present novel, the copier of a thousand jutsu stopped suddenly at the soft spoken question, a lone eye lifting off the well worn text before him in what appeared to be surprise at the others’ presence. Or rather- surprised at his own surroundings.
“Hm?”

Tilting his slightly, the silver haired teacher regarded the woman contemplatively for no more than a second before responding. “Don’t take this the wrong way but… I’m not too sure you could actually be of any help. You seem to be new.”
The boy dragged twitchy fingers through his darkened locks coolly, attempting to calm his nerves and regain his composure. He hadn’t met any other from that unfortunate day, though, honestly, he wasn’t trying in the slightest. He wished so very badly that he could have taken everything back―the pain he caused, the heartache, the rage―but he made no move to do so. He wanted to avoid the whole gang that confronted he and his master, yet he knew it to be futile. It was inevitable that they all speak again. Kakashi was simply the first stepping stone to coming to terms with the entire event.
“Considering the last time we encountered one another- I imagine it would be.”
Ouch. As if he weren’t feeling rotten enough about the incident. Still, his lips were pressed firmly together in his strained smile, it looking oddly natural, as he gave one nod of his head. A peculiar sensation stung his chest right where his heart lay. The Kiri-nin had to resist his instincts to place his hand over it to quell the ghost of an injury. “He is here as well. It would be in your best interest to avoid him, however―I do believe he is still rather upset over our battle.”
“Your cell,” he continued after a slight pause. “They are residents of Iwakiri as well, I presume?” He ceased to fuss with his hair, instead locking his hands together behind his back, his body swaying ever-so-slightly.
If he was aware of the emotional upheaval currently coursing through young student before him, the silver haired jounin made no outward display of it. To someone that was aloof as the copier of a thousand jutsu, the other’s twitchy, obviously uncomfortable gestures were for the most part amusing Kakashi couldn’t help but think dryly. The last time he had seen the other- the boy who could easily mistaken for a girl had been in total control of his emotions- in control of his self especially before an enemy ninja no less.
Was it another example of the influence the academy had that seemed to make people forget themselves?
The question was swiftly filed away for further perusal at a more convenient time as the former anbu focused his attention on the given answer to his previous inquiry.
“He is here as well. It would be in your best interest to avoid him, however―I do believe he is still rather upset over our battle.”
Kakashi wasn’t the least bit surprised, and yet refrained from making any sort of comment on that front, his mind whirling at the possible casualties that would no doubt come with the arrival of the blood thirsty rogue.
Another one added to the list of people to watch over….*sigh*
“Your cell,” he continued after a slight pause. “They are residents of Iwakiri as well, I presume?”
Soothing tones continued to resound after a short pause and Kakashi once more had to drag himself out of his organizing thoughts to catch the other’s question before giving a curt nod in reply.

“Naruto and Sakura are running around here… somewhere.” He amusedly intoned before casually shrugging his shoulders. “And Sasuke- well he’s also attending the academy.” And hopefully keeping away from that brother of his…

Did he really— Whatever. It was to be expected of this man. God knows how invested he was in that book.
“I noticed.” He replied in an annoyed tone although it went away with a sigh. He expected no less from Kakashi. “You teach here too?” A pause. “Hopefully you aren’t teaching them what’s in that book.” With that comment, it took a moment, but he laughed. Just as he remembered.
“When did you get here, Kakashi-sensei?”
Giving the overactive- not to mention over doubtful- blonde a leveled stare, Kakashi merely gave a raised a hidden silver brow before replying in a mild tone. “Maybe if you actually attended my class you’d know exactly what it is I teach.”
“When did you get here, Kakashi-sensei?”
Folding his arm, the former anbu shrugged his shoulders. “Sometime before you did.”
